16th Durham Juggling Convention 2012 (DJC 2012)

Last weekend we went to the Durham Juggling Convention (in Wolsingham).  Throughout the day there was a large selection of workshops ranging from Slack line and Unicycling to Hula Hoop and club passing, the games also drew many participants. As always the evening show had a variety of different acts all compared by Todd Various who kept the audience well entertained between acts.

Todd amazing us with his cup and ball skills.

Gail O'Brian demonstrated her unique hooping skills.

The youngest performers of the night were the Five Rings troupe showing us potentially how unicyling could be turned into a video game.

Vid Warren was joined on stage by Tess Cartwright forming "Beatrick". on combination of slick juggling, awesome beat boxing and possibly making the recorder cool in the process.

Suspended Motion, Ian Henderson and Danuta Ramos did some amazing acrobalance whilst reading a book.

Top secret International Act (Alex & Marianne) from Germany did some pretty amazing acro to a classical Metalica track.

This years BYOTY (British Young Juggler of the Year) performed some very spectacular tricks both on and off his Unicycle.

To end the show Graduate of the Five Rings Circus, and No Fit State Circus performer Lee Scott Tinnion showed us just how good he really is.
