Unicycle.com have been involved with the organising of the Durham Juggling Convention for years, but this year it was all new.  We moved it to Teesdale school in Barnard Castle.



The format for the event was a Friday evening in The Hub (or pub) eating, drinking, chatting and juggling in their small halls there.  Saturday at the School where there was workshops, games and practice space then a public show in the evening.  Then back to The Hub for more socialising and entertainment.  This included a massive fire pit to huddle around.



All in all the great success, the school gave a great space for all activities without any restrictions on unicycles.  We then had the local community centre called The Hub for the evening and night activities on the Friday and Saturday nights.

It is a month now until the Durham Convention is on.  This annual event draws jugglers and unicyclists from all over the country to meet, share skills, play games and watch the cabaret-style show in the evening. Both the convention and show are also open to the public.  Unicycle.com will have a stand there on the Saturday.  You can find out more on their webpage or from Facebook.

Another fantastic Durham Juggling Convention was hosted at Wolsingham School over the weekend just gone. 

With the usual array of workshops, Unicycle trials course, games and this year a big pressence from Lets Circus running a wide variety of activities and coaching. All culminating a cabaret style show with an awesome variety of acts on the saturday night.

It looks like the weather forcast for the Durham is fanstastic!  16 degrees and no rain!  We have also just received the timetable and information for the event.
