Description

The Oracle has a lightweight but very stiff Aluminium frame with a durable powdercoated finish and smart looking decals to finish it off. At the heart of the Unicycle is the Nimbus disc hub, which allows the disc brake rotor to be mounted inside the frame, keeping it as far away from your foot or rocks as possible. With the super strong deep box section of the Dominator II rim this Unicycle will take anything you can throw at it.

I was riding a 24″ Qu-Ax Luxus before buying the Nimbus Oracle 29″. I just discovered a whole new world with this unicycle. Riding it feels a 1000 times smoother. I love my new saddle too, the Nimbus Gel saddle, wich I can ride way longer without my crotch getting hurt. The brake helps a lot going downhill, my knees kept getting hurt even in short slopes. Not anymore. There’s 2 things I changed though. The pedals that came with it (great ones) caused me 2 long cuts in my leg the first day I went for a ride. But that’s my problem, not the unicycle’s. I also changed the seatpost, wich was too long for me. I was lucky that I bought extra pedals for the other Unicycle, wich I ended up using in this one. I happened to have an extra seatpost too, so I could try the unicycle the day it arrived And the look, oh the look… With the huge tyre, looks so badass, love it Five Stars, thanks

I am a newbie when it comes to unicycles but I have to say that I am in love with my new Oracle 29″! My wife bought it for me for Christmas 2014 (I was on a borrowed 20″ before that). It was a big change from 20 to 29 but I have found I am learning faster and getting better with each ride. It is a bit of money, but when you think of a top of the line mountain bike, it is cheap! I also highly recommend the upgrade parts. The KH Freeride seat is amazingly comfortable and the spirit cranks are going to add some additional flexibility for all the hills around our home. Thank you to my lovely wife and to Unicycle.com!

My 3rd unicycle, learned on a 20, then rode a QUAX for a few years, then got this one. Seems a bit pricy at first, but very well built. At first it seemed a bit twitchy, but after a few days of practice it settled down. Rides very smoothly, is fun to ride, and looks really cool. Very glad I got it!

I’ve been Muni-ing for 3 years, its my favourite unicycling activity, and a problem I was having was sore knees after long descents. Constant backpedalling pressure is not good for old knees. Roger from Unicycle.com suggested I try brake, and whilst out on a Muni ride with him he let me try his then disc braked prototype. After trying his unicycle on a steeper hill than I would normally ride (Roger assured me I could do it) I realized this could be the answer to my problem. When the first Oracles came on sale I snapped up a lovely orange 24″ Nimbus ‘Oracle’ Disc Unicycle. I’ve had it for over 1/2 a year now and my confidence on Muni rides has grown with it allowing me to ride down hills steeper than anything I had attempted before, and with no knee pain. But now I was looking for something to take me a little further, cycle paths,converted railways,or broad forest trails, that sort of thing. A 29″ wheel seemed to fit the bill so when the 29″ Nimbus ‘Oracle’ Disc unicycle became available then I had to have one. On seeing those first pictures I was immediately seduced by its looks and bought one as soon as one was in the shop. On my first ride I was surprised on how light and nimble it was for a larger wheel (its lighter than my none braked 26″ Muni) and how easily it rolled over small undulations and roots without having to make major adjustments in my balance. On trying the disc brake I was impressed by its smooth operation and no hint of grabbing .My initial worries that the first pull on the brake lever would have me ejected out the front were immediately dispelled when I tried on very steep road descent and found there was plenty of feel to the brake and that you could apply alot of pressure before it would lock. Overall good quality great looks and fun to ride, can’t wait to get out on it again when weather improves.
