Calling all urban unicyclists (and curious newcomers!) — STFU London is bringing its Autumn group ride to Newcastle upon Tyne on Saturday 20th September 2025.

If you’ve ever wanted to ride with others, practice street / trials / flatland, or just hang out with folks who love unicycles, this is the event for you. It doesn’t matter how experienced you are — everyone’s welcome, from total beginner to seasoned rider.

Event Details

  • What: STFU Group Ride — Autumn in Newcastle

  • When: Saturday 20 September 2025, 11:00 AM BST

  • Where: Meet outside Newcastle Central Train Station

  • Who: All skill levels; beginners are especially encouraged to join

What to Expect

  • A friendly group gathering to ride through the city, explore urban terrain, and share the love of unicycling.

  • Hang out time in case anyone’s running late (we’ll wait ~30 mins) so no need to stress if you’re not perfectly on time.

  • Lots of opportunity to improve, learn from others, try different styles (street, flat, trials) and meet new people.

Why Come Along

  • Build confidence riding in urban settings

  • Connect with the UK unicycling community

  • Try new things in a supportive, fun environment

  • Maybe try STFU merch 😉 or just enjoy the ride

What to Bring / Things to Know

  • A good unicycle, of course!

  • Helmet & protective gear (especially if doing trials or street tricks)

  • Water, snacks, perhaps a camera or phone to capture the fun

  • Comfortable clothing / shoes suitable for urban riding

  • If possible, let the organisers know you’re coming via the event page — helps with planning.
