Shipments to the USA – Update
We’re pleased to let you know that the shipping restrictions for DHL deliveries to the United States have now been lifted.
As you may remember, DHL had temporarily suspended shipments to private individuals in the USA where the order value exceeded USD 800, due to regulatory changes requiring more complex customs procedures. During this time, only shipments valued under USD 800 or business-to-business shipments were unaffected.
Following discussions between DHL and the U.S. government, these restrictions have now been removed.
From 28 April 2025, DHL has resumed transporting shipments to private individuals in the USA with a declared value over USD 800.
Shipments valued between USD 800 and USD 2,500 can once again be cleared using the faster informal entry customs process, helping to speed things up.
Please note that there may still be some transit delays while DHL works through the backlog caused by the suspension.
We’re delighted to be able to offer a full shipping service to our U.S. customers again and appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
