The Pickwick Bicycle Club is the older cycling club in the world. They organise an annual race for Penny Farthings (ordinary cycles) at Hillingdon Cycle Circuit.

BMW events are open to unicyclists of all age and skills. They are not formal events, but social events where you can meet up with other unicyclists and ride together. On the 15/16/17 September 2022 there was a BMW at Coed y Brenin in Mid-Wales.

Swedish 3 Day Penny Farthing Race is an event orientated weekend with 4 different races being held over 3 days.

UNICON is the name given to the Unicycle World Championships. Although it is a lot more than that, it is a gathering of 2500 of the top unicyclists from all around the world to celebrate unicycles.

The event is run every two years at a different venues/countries.  It had not happened for 4 years due to the pandemic by the time this years event happened.

 

Elodie got a unicycle for her 11th Birthday in March (2022) and hasn’t look back since. She is now going to ride her 20″ Leaf Unicycle 13 miles to raise money for local charity St Petrock. Read more about her ride here.

The Penny Farthing Club is a UK based group who promote Penny Farthing riding. They were started 10 years ago by Neil Laughton and this year they had a celebration in central London.

The British Juggling Convention is one of the largest events in the world of it’s type. There is always a large unicycle contingent to it but this year it will be even bigger! Unicycle Skills are putting together a wide range of unicycle activities.
