Because this is the latest verison of the Impact ALLinONE seatpost it has had the whole top of the seatpost redesigned, consequently as a result the seatpost has improved strength and life over the old version. Due to the extra material used to improve strength it has gained a few grams and therefore weighs a little more than the older verson. It is still only tipping the scales at the crazy low 166 grams.
