UDC staff excited by Impact

Paul, Nick and I have all decided to upgrade our Unicycles with Impact parts. After the massive Impact delivery we just couldn't resist the Impact Frames!

This is Paul's hockey Unicycle. He has replaced his frame with a 20" Impact 'Gravity' Longneck Frame - Black. He has also added a Blue KH seatpost clamp and a White Bumper and Handle to the saddle.

I have upgraded my MUni frame to a  24" Impact 'Gravity' Frame - White. I added some Gusset 'Pinhead' Pedals in White and a White Bumper and Handle to the saddle.

Nick has also upgraded his Hockey unicycle with a 20" Impact 'Gravity' Longneck Frame - Black with a White Impact Clamp. You wouldn't believe how many "upgrades" this unicycle has been through as it originally started out as a KH Flatland Unicycle. Nick is definitely the girliest person in the office when it comes to shopping!

Three VERY happy member's of staff here at Unicycle.com.

I suppose we should probably get back to the office now.. It's been a fun morning.

Small Unicycle?

One of the most frequently asked questions here at unicycle.com is "how old do you have to be to start riding a unicycle"?. Well look at this unicycle we have "customized". It is a special build for a four year old! We took a 12" Hoppley unicycle and cut down the frame and seatpost to make it the right size to accommodate a 14" (35cm) inside leg length.

New stock, new catalog

Rachael is engrossed in the new wholesale catalog finding new shiny bits to buy! She has already claimed the nice shiny purple rim that has just arrived for Marco in Germany. Sorry Marco!

Staff Unicycles 'Part7'

Here we have Rachael's Nimbus Eclipse as I promised. The spec of Rach's is pretty much the same as mine but she's gone in a little bit of a different direction with the powder coating! Very Sparkly!

The saddle is another prototype from Taiwan and with Rach being a bit of a sparkle freak before it was out of the box she had claimed it!! With the saddle be extremely unique the unicycle was designed around the saddle

[caption id="attachment_869" align="alignnone" width="560" caption=" "] [/caption]

The frame is a 400mm Eclipse frame which has been powder coated in sparkly silver and the rim to match. Then the hub as been done in sparkly blue to match the middle of the seat. The wheel was built with blue nipples and black spokes to continue the theme, and then finished off we've got some 100mm Qu-Ax Lightweight cranks and some White Plastic pedals.

[caption id="attachment_870" align="alignnone" width="560" caption=" "] [/caption]

All in all a pretty awesome "Girly" looking unicycle don't you think?

Staff Unicycles 'Part4'

Today we have Rachael's 24" Muni which is a little special, because as far as we know it's the only one in existence. The frame was going to be the New Nimbus Muni but was never put into production so the prototype frame made it in to Rachael's hands.

So as normal start at the top and work down, the saddle is the old style Kris Holm Freeride one of the first we think in grey. Next we have an Onza seatpost and seatpost clamp. The wheel is the standard Nimbus Muni wheel which bar few tiny tweaks is the same wheel that comes on the Nimbus Muni's today.

Because Rach enjoys going fast the 3" tyre has been ditched and replaced with a 2.6" to save weight, coupled with the 140mm Koxx cranks means it's nice going up hills. Finally we have some standard DX Pedals in red just to give the unicycle a little be of color.
