Sunday ride round Anglesey - By Rob Day
- 5 Mar 2013
On sunday I decided to take my Oracle 36" on a road ride on the Isle of Anglesey.
Setting off from Rhosneigr on a beautiful sunny day I headed 8 miles down some of the hundreds of miles of back lanes towards Malltreath.
I stopped briefly on the shore before then heading another 8 miles inland through Llangefni on a cycle path that follows a waterway running from Llyn Cefni reservoir.
The path is one I have previously ridden with fellow sponsored rider Julian Page and it has recently been resurfaced so is a lot smoother.
From there I headed North West before taking the old A and B roads back towards Rhosneigr with many challenging hill climbs along the way, a good warm up with 100mm cranks on!
A total of 31 miles, lots of sun and great fun!
